Nicole Vickridge
Consulting Arborist
Nicole’s love of plants started at a young age, influenced by her Grandparents who were passionate gardeners - she grew up touring Horticulture and Camellia shows across country NSW with them. Her Grandpa (Thomas James Savige) was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for services to Horticulture and later a Master of Science (Agriculture) (Honoris Causa) by Sydney University for his work on The International Camellia Register.
In 2022 following a lifelong interest in trees Nicole completed a graduate certificate in arboriculture at the University of Melbourne. Her understanding of the many and varied issues impacting trees in urban environments comes from twenty years working as a town planner across roles in Government and consulting and a deep curiosity about all thing’s trees. She has an intimate knowledge of the Victorian Planning System and the local planning policies and controls relating to tree protection and the natural environment; having written a wide range of planning policies on behalf of a range of clients.
A skilled communicator she can provide clients with a valuable blend of experience across tree management and town planning matters.
