Lisa Merrett switched careers in 2020 to become a Bushfire Planning Consultant.

​

She has worked on large and small projects including BAL reports for small, residential extensions to providing Bushfire Management Statements and Bushfire Emergency Plans for large, council-run projects.

​

Lisa has gained excellent knowledge of the building and planning processes required in bushfire prone areas and properties with a Bushfire Management Overlay.

 

She has first-hand experience that project efficiency is increased when Bushfire planning is integrated early into the planning process.

​

Lisa has a Graduate Certificate in Bushfire Planning and Management from the University of Melbourne.
